Stonk Interns: the 8,888 companion NFTs of StonkBrokers

Stonk Interns are the companion collection of StonkBrokers on Robinhood Chain. Every one of the 4,444 StonkBrokers has exactly two interns, token N for the Sigma class and token N plus 4,444 for the Divergent class, and each intern mirrors its parent broker's traits in pixel art that lives entirely on chain as SVG. Interns are the easy entry point into the ecosystem: cheaper than a broker, freely tradeable, and wired into the same Clock In distributions, desks, and wallets as the brokers they report to.

How minting works

All 8,888 interns exist from day one. They were swept dormant into their parent broker's ERC-6551 wallet at open, and minting an intern means paying the fee to release it out of that wallet into yours. Only the owner of an activated broker can mint its two interns, which is why the Anvil AMM broker lookup shows whether a broker still has interns inside.

The step up is on chain and can only ever be lowered by the collection owner, never raised. The live price and the countdown to the next step are on the Interns desk.

On chain art and live traits

Every intern renders from an on chain SVG renderer, so the image needs no server and cannot go missing. Static traits mirror the parent broker (background, skin, clothing, head, face, pocket square) and 56 one of one interns carry unique art and names. Live traits update from contract state: Status (dormant or released), Job Title, Activation Tier, and Parent Broker Tier, so a broker upgrade promotes both of its interns in the same block and marketplaces show the change on the next refresh.

Activation ladder

Interns have their own activation ladder paid in $STONKBROKER, named after school years: Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, Senior, and Alumnus. The tier multiplies the intern's weight in Clock In, and Alumnus interns are the ones that receive the ecosystem's recurring treasury token drops. Activation happens from the Interns desk in one approve plus one activate transaction.

Job titles and pay share

The parent broker's owner sets a pay share for each intern, from a 0.25% Trainee floor up to a combined 5% of the broker's Clock In rounds. Share ratchets upward only. The job title is rank times desk: the rank comes from the share (Trainee, Junior, Intern, Senior, Head) and the desk from the parent broker's live tier (Floor Runner, Research Intern, Portfolio Intern, Executive Intern, Partner Track Intern). A dormant intern, or one whose parent broker is not active, reads Applicant.

Every intern has a wallet

Like brokers, interns own an ERC-6551 token bound wallet. Clock In pay, treasury drops, and Pager job payouts land there, and the holder claims them from My Interns. Selling an intern sells its wallet contents with it, which is how in vault interns on the desks carry value.

Interns desks: instant NFT liquidity

Interns operate the Interns desks, an open NFT liquidity venue where anyone stakes tokens to buy NFTs, stakes NFTs to sell them, or both on an Anvil style two way desk. The 9.99% fee on every fill splits 66% to the desk depositors, 25% to the intern Clock In, and 9% to the protocol. Pager: the holders only messenger

Holders of a StonkBroker or a released intern get Pager, the on site messenger with a general floor, rooms, direct messages, broker to intern notes, and a Work board where holders post paid jobs that escrow on chain and pay into the worker's intern or broker wallet. One percent of every payout funds the intern Clock In.
